In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Community Giving Study, devise and suggest methods and means to assist boys and girls to adjust themselves to their environment and become adapted to the social, economic and moral demands that they may encounter. The Community Giving Committee shall develop ways and means of assisting the guidance of youth in the selection of proper and suitable vocations and other areas the committee may deem pertinent.
Community Service Service is the heart of Kiwanis, and the Community Service Committee helps spread that heartfelt service to our part of the world. How will our club meet the needs of the community? How can we be sure to invite every member to be involved in one or more of our outreach efforts? The Community Service Committee will coordinate the annual Minot High After-Prom Party, Salvation Army bell ringing and other projects including but not limited to activities such as food, clothing and toiletries drives; working at soup kitchens; participating in city-wide cleanup, etc.
Fundraising Fundraisers are the fuel that drives our club's community giving. Generally the magnitude of our club's impact is directly proportional to our fundraising success. The Fundraising Committee will spearhead our efforts for our largest annual fundraising events, Kiwanis Pancake Day and Singing Santa Night.
Membership & Public Relations Membership: This committee monitors all aspects of membership, including growth, retention and education. This means bringing in new members, teaching them about Kiwanis and ensuring the member experience meets everyone's expectations. The committee is also responsible for orientation and induction ceremonies for new members and promoting regular attendance by all members at club meetings. Public Relations: This committee also contributes directly to the success and growth of your club projects, events and membership growth efforts. Public relations includes the Kiwanis website, Facebook page and other efforts.
Programs The Programs Committee is responsible for providing the most effective club meeting possible. The committee focuses on the club meeting program, fellowship, inter-club relations and other areas the committee deems pertinent. Club meetings and events are an important part of a member's Kiwanis experience, and this committee makes the meetings productive and engaging. The committee starts by asking club members what they expect from a meeting and then strive to meet those expectations.
Service Leadership Provide opportunities to serve, to lead, to grow and to belong. The Service Leadership committee includes Kiwanis club advisers for each sponsored Key Club. The main objective is to provides support for each club in the form of financial sponsorship, training for advisers and leaders, and guidance in the event and meeting planning. The Service Leadership committee serves as the facilitator for the Kiwanis Scholarship (Music Scholarship) administered by the North Dakota Community Foundation in Bismarck and the Gary Holum Scholarship administered by Minot State University.
